Lamborghini Unveils the Huracán STJ: A Final Tribute to the Naturally Aspirated V10

Sant’Agata Bolognese, July 28, 2025

The end of an era is coming at Lamborghini. As the Italian brand prepares for a future dominated by hybrid and electric technology, it has just revealed what will likely be the very last Huracán powered by the legendary naturally aspirated V10 engine: the Huracán STJ.

A tribute to purists

The STJ (Super Trofeo Jota) is conceived as a pure celebration of the V10, an engine that has been at the heart of Lamborghini’s identity since 2003 with the Gallardo.

  • Output: approximately 650 hp
  • Transmission: 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox
  • Drivetrain: rear-wheel drive for an unfiltered driving experience

The philosophy is simple: a driver-focused supercar, stripped of anything unnecessary, with direct inspiration from Lamborghini’s racing cars.

Radical and exclusive design

Key highlights include:

  • Reworked aerodynamics with a fixed rear wing, larger air intakes, and carbon fiber components.
  • Exclusive lightweight wheels fitted with semi-slick tires.
  • A minimalist interior with Alcantara, roll bars, and track-oriented instrumentation.

Only 250 units will be produced, each customizable through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program.

Why this car is historic

The Huracán STJ is not just another special edition: it marks the swan song of the naturally aspirated V10.

Starting in 2026, the entire Lamborghini range will shift to hybrid or fully electric powertrains, making this engine a true legend of the past.

What this means for enthusiasts

For fans of pure driving emotions, the Huracán STJ offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity:

  • The final chance to own a non-hybrid Lamborghini supercar
  • A future collector’s item thanks to its limited production

With the Huracán STJ, Lamborghini ends the V10 era in spectacular fashion. A chapter closes, and a new one begins: the hybrid and electric era of the raging bull.
